Hey everyone, happy Monday! Get ready for a new post about my life!
Today, we’re taking a thrilling plunge into the abyss that is my bag! I used to be a proud one-bag wonder, but it turns out I’ve morphed into a bag hoarder of epic proportions. So buckle up, because this is going to be the most delightfully chaotic “What’s in my bag” adventure you’ll ever experience!
I change my bags based on the occasion, and currently, I’m sticking with my top two favorites. Let’s take a look inside them, and I’ll also share some honorable mentions for the bags that just missed out!
My Everyday Tote

Shoutout to Shannon! I saw her with this bag at Church one Sunday and immediately ordered one for myself. This bag is my trusty companion; it goes everywhere with me! Whether I’m in workout clothes or trying to look stylish, it somehow pulls my look together and adds the best pop of color. Click on the photo to get one for yourself!
The Contents

These are my essentials. My life savers. Of course I am going to go through each and every one of these items just for you.
iPhone 14 Pro Max: She has all my secrets and is always with me. My thousands of photos and all my crazy notes. I couldn’t function with out her. (No, seriously though, I’ve lived here for two & a half years and still use my maps app every time I get in the car) Case is from TJ Maxx and I get tons of compliments on it!
All The Feels Punch Card: This is one of my favorite stores in Houston! It has the cutest variety of items and fits my quirky style so much. It is always my go-to when I need a gift for a friend. Check them out!
The Burger Joint Punch Card: Every 10th burger is free! Why would I not carry this around with me everywhere I go? For real though, the Burger Joint is such a good place to eat. It’s chill outdoor seating (right now it’s too cold) and the burgers, fries, and milkshakes are fabulous.
ēmaYamē Creations Business Card: This is a handmade jewelry designer that I came across in Paris! I bought a few rings from them and I wear them all the time. I am so glad I got this card because I wish I bought more while I was there and now I can order some if I want. I do not have any clue how to pronounce the name of this so good thing this is a blog and not a podcast.
Wallet: I have never owned a wallet until recently. I was sick and tired of having my cards all willy nilly in my bag and I tend to lose things when there is not a specific spot for them. This wallet is from Shein (don’t judge me). It is really all I need. Holds my change in the middle and all my cards on the outside and clips to my key when I don’t want to bring a purse around.
Gum: You will never catch me without gum. I might have a tiny gum addiction, but who can blame me? I mean, what if I munch on something that turns my breath into a dragon’s? Gum! What if a cute boy is spotted and I want to chat him up? Yep, you guessed it—Gum! After my third coffee at PCH, you can bet I’m popping that minty magic in my mouth! It’s the answer to all of life’s little dilemmas and I’m always down to share.
Kaxi Clip: This clip is a game changer. I have thick hair, and most claw clips can’t hold it well (except for one from Ulta that is now breaking from use). These clips may look small, but they secure my hair so well. You need to do a French twist before clipping, which was difficult for me at first, but now it’s easy. Plus, when driving, I can rest my head against the seat without feeling poked by plastic. Get one!
Pen: This one is boring and self explanatory so all I will say is everyone needs a pen.
Chunky Gold Earrings: These are my second favorite earrings. I might do an earring tour one day. I usually wear gold, and day-to-day, I have three small hoops in my ears. However, these earrings are so versatile that I can wear them with anything. My favorite style is with a slicked bun because it highlights the earrings nicely. I am pretty sure these are from Amazon, they haven’t tarnished and I have had them for a while so I totally recommend!
Officine Universelle Buly Comb: Obsessed with this comb! This was also a Paris find. The store is called Officine Universelle Buly, obviously French lol, and they do personalized combs, brushes, lip products and more. I waited a long time to get a Christmas present for my sister so I treated myself with a comb. It is engraved with my initials, SJK. I love the metal end on the comb, it makes parting my hair and sectioning my bangs so much easier.
Brown Tinted Sunglasses: I cant link these sadly because the store I got them from is closed. But, these are my favorite sunglasses. They are brown tinted, which in my opinion, are sooo much better than grey tinted ones. they block the sun but I can still see. I wear these everywhere.
AirTag: Another self explanatory one, I lose things. This is to help me in case I leave my bag behind. I then pray that I didn’t also leave my phone. If I didn’t then I can track my things with the airtag. I originally got it for my luggage, so when I travel I put it in my checked bag to give me peace of mind.
Cross: This cross was part of a Christmas gift from my Mom. It has an indent in it like one of those stress relieving rocks that you can rub. I like to keep it with me as a reminder that my Poppy Nils is with me.
Camedia D-40 Zoom: This camera has become my entire personality since I found it. It was made in 2001, I was one year old then, which is crazy. It takes the coolest pictures and I hope my friends never get sick of me taking pictures of them with it. Its become such a joy to capture moments to look back on. With this camera there is also always batteries in my bag since it dies in about an hour. The batteries wouldn’t have looked cute in the collage so I left them out…oops. Check out my Digitals page to see my life through its lens!
DedCool Perfume: Okay let me influence you to buy this brand of perfume. I found this at All the Feels last June and I have been obsessed with it ever since. The scent I have is called Taunt. The scent profile is TOP: BERGAMOT, FRESH DEW, MIDDLE: FLORAL, CASSIS, and BOTTOM: VANILLA, AMBER. It seriously smells so good that I also have the car air freshener in the same scent. I bought my sister one that was more floral scented for her birthday this year, she will have to vouch for that one. Rochelle, comment below if you like your perfume!
Keys: My keychain! I just recent got the BAGGU wrist strap which I have been loving (I got that from All the Feels as well). We also have my air pods which never leave my side because I am basically listening to music or a podcast at all times. My car key and my snazzy pink cover is next. I, for an unknown reason, click the buttons to lock and un-lock my car with aggression so the cover is there to save my keys from my fingers. Last but certainly not least we have my momentum member card to scan at the gym. Shout-out momentum mommies gc!
Eyelash Curler: With out a curl of my eyelashes I look like I need to slumber for the next 100 years. Y’all probably don’t think so, but I do. I have long lashes but without this torture contraption you would hardly know.
Tweezers: These are my saving grace. I have wild eyebrows and all girls know that the car is the best place to spot stray hairs. There is just something about the lighting that makes them come right out of the wood work. I have a mini tweezers for under the eyebrow and a large one for in-between. Ya girl’s a pro at plucking.
Aquaphor Stick: Ah the famous Aquaphor. My friends all make fun of me for this, but I am telling you right now this is the best Sarah hack you will ever get. It is the Aquaphor healing balm stick. Technically, I think people use this for their elbows and possibly their feet. Let me tell you though, it is the BEST chapstick. It’s big so I never lose it. I can easily grab it out of my purse. Plus, it lasts FOREVER. The only con is that I guarantee you people are definitely going to look at you funny when you use it. I have moved past this since I’ve been using one for the last 2 years. I would like to declare this as the new trend.
NYX Duck Plump Clear Gloss: If you want plump, juicy, shiny lips on a budget then this is the gloss for you. It is the best lip gloss I have used in a minute. WARNING: it does burn. The result, however, is the most gorgeous lip. I only ever wear my Aquaphor and then this on top.
Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara: We have moved into the makeup realm and this and the concealer we will talk about next is basically the only makeup I ever wear. This mascara is fabulous, it separates and elongates my lashes. I would say it’s a really good dupe for Better Than Sex or Buxom. I always get black and waterproof because I tend to be a crier.
Merit Concealer & Brush: Okay this concealer is my new obsession. It is on the pricier side of makeup, but I think 100% worth it. I used to use the glossier concealer and loved it, but I needed a more full coverage option for those days that a pimple just won’t leave me alone. I am pretty pale, but for the girlies like me, I am shade Dune. I also have their concealer brush (Brush No.1) and It works so so well to blend into my skin.
Gym Shark Mini Bag

This is my favorite gym bag! It’s small but fits everything I need, with cute loops on the side for clipping my climbing shoes, which is super convenient. It’s a game-changer since I no longer have to carry everything in my hands at the gym. It reminds me of when I used a giant Vera Bradley duffle as my basketball bag. I linked the bag to the photo!

Lint Roller: I have a cat so this is a must have especially because almost all of my leggings are black. I am trying to be less embarrassed when I pull this out in the gym and have to collect the cat hair that is always all over me.
Wet Brush: I normally only use this to brush out my wet hair, but it is also the only brush I own that is small enough to bring in this bag. Mine is from Wet-n-Wild and as someone who constantly gets knots in their hair because its so long, I love it.
Contacts: I am so blind so I always have to keep an extra pair of eyes (as my parents say) just in case.
Deodorant: Hate to break it to you, but I am a sweaty gorl. This is clinical deodorant and I can be honest with you and say it keeps me smelling great but does not stop the sweat.
Tower28 SOS Spray: This is a lifesaver for my sensitive skin! I currently need a refill because I use it so often. It’s a Hypochlorous Acid toner spray that helps prevent redness and irritation. I use it after the gym to avoid letting sweat sit on my face. It has really helped with my breakouts!
Teletie: High School VSCO girl Sarah was obsessed with these hair ties. They don’t get caught in your hair like normal ties do because they have a spiral. I have also found that they don’t really leave a dent when I do a pony, which is ideal. They come in all kinds of colors but mine is a basic one. Love having it with me to whip up my hair if needed.
Oura Ring Covers: I wear my Oura ring 24/7 and want to protect it from scratches while lifting weights at the gym. I found silicone covers on Amazon that work well! I can keep my ring on during my entire workout without any issues! Also the colors are super cute!
Carabiner: This handy clip holds my climbing shoes on the outside of my bag. It is so convenient because I used to always forget my shoes, but now they are hooked so I cant take my gym bag anywhere without them.
Hand Cream: The past two months Texas has been too cold and with cold comes dry skin. This helps my hands stay moisturized after a lift or climb when my calluses are not doing well.
Advil: Pain.
Owala: If you don’t have an Owala, get one. I used to hate water bottles and now I can’t go anywhere without one of my three Owalas. This pink and green one is the biggest one I own and it’s perfect for the gym!
Boxing Wraps: My wraps for boxing! Gotta have these ready when I get to class on Saturdays. I am working on learning how to wrap my own hands, but it’s a struggle.
Keys, Aquaphor, Phone, & Wallet: The fantastic four that never leave my side.
Honorable Mention Bags
My Pink Baggu

A Christmas gift from my sweet Jess! This bag is fabulous! I was desperate to ditch my sad little knock-off Lulu crossbody fanny pack; it was time for an upgrade, and boy, did Jess deliver! Now, if you know me, you know I’m like a walking edition of a funeral dress code: black, white, grey, brown or navy blue are my usual lifelines. But this bag? It’s like a surprise confetti cannon at a dull party—finally, some color to rescue my dreary outfit situation!
Thrifted Black Shoulder Bag

This was the ultimate treasure of last year, and guess who is to blame? Yep, you guessed it—Jess! I strutted around Europe with this bag like it was my new best friend; I mean, it was practically glued to my side. Who knew a bag could make someone feel so fancy? It’s hilarious, really, because I used to be the girl who swore she’d never need a purse—I thought my car keys had it all covered (and trust me, they’re basically a luggage set on their own).
This was such a fun post to write! I feel like I am starting to get a little more creative with my topics, photos, and cover art. Hope everyone is having a great day! See you Wednesday!
